Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Florence, SC team. This full-time role supports the physical therapy program, assisting with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and patient education under the supervision of a PT.

The PTA will help implement individualized treatment plans, assist with functional activities, and participate in transportation-related therapy when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid state PTA license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT in delivering physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Implement treatment goals and plans established by the PT.
• Carry out interventions to meet patients’ long-term goals, including strengthening, balance, posture, endurance, and community re-entry training.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive devices.

Schedule: Full-Time - Monday through Friday

Compensation: $23.00 to $39.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

Minimum Qualifications
