Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes, selects, and utilizes effective methods of verbal and non-verbal interactions based on the age of the patient.
• Develops and modifies goals and treatment plans in collaboration with the physical therapist.
• Delivers various therapeutic interventions accurately and effectively.
• Delegates and monitors aspects of care to appropriate PT personnel.
• Coordinates the delivery of physical therapy services.
• Documents services delivered clearly, concisely, and accurately.
• Accurately records and submits patient related charges for patient billing and departmental productivity.
• Efficiently utilizes resources of human, equipment and supplies.
• Authorized to have access to medications within their scope of practice.
• Other duties as assigned.
