Baptist Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Team Lead (LPTA) PRN to provide supportive supervision and patient care in Prattville Baptist Hospital. The role involves assisting Physical Therapists, monitoring notes and discharge summaries, and coordinating LPTA coverage including weekends.
Strong leadership and communication skills, HIPAA knowledge, and a patient-focused approach are required to ensure treatment orders are followed and staff performance is managed.
Summary: Administers physical therapy treatment to patients, working under the direction of and assistant to Physical Therapists for inpatients and outpatients. Monitors and completes progress notes and discharge summaries. Ensures all treatments are performed as ordered or communicates why treatment was not performed. Supervises all LPTAs and is responsible for performance evaluations, regulating PTO, clinical skills checklist, weekly coverage including weekends, and all other job related requirements for the LPTA staff.
