Baptist Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Team Lead (LPTA) PRN to provide supportive supervision and patient care in Prattville Baptist Hospital. The role involves assisting Physical Therapists, monitoring notes and discharge summaries, and coordinating LPTA coverage including weekends.

Strong leadership and communication skills, HIPAA knowledge, and a patient-focused approach are required to ensure treatment orders are followed and staff performance is managed.

Qualifications

• Degree in accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers physical therapy treatment under supervision of Physical Therapists for inpatients and outpatients.
• Monitors and completes progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Ensures treatments are performed as ordered or communicates why not performed.
• Supervises LPTAs and conducts performance evaluations.
• Manages PTO, clinical skills checklist, and weekly coverage including weekends.
