Job summary

AccentCare Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Culver City. The role involves providing treatment under a licensed Physical Therapist, managing a clinical caseload and participating in a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, a valid state license, CPR certification, and a driver’s license for travel to locations. Strong patient education and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification.
• Must have valid license/permit to practice in state of operation.
• Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.
• Ability to implement care plans and communicate findings to PT and physician.
• Ability to educate patients and families in basic home safety and medical equipment safety.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and documents treatment per physician orders and patient needs.
• Documents interventions, approaches, materials and treatment priorities.
• Delivers organized patient treatment including education and counseling.
• Presents patient information to supervising therapist and updates team on status.
• Provides skilled treatment within agency and payer parameters.
• Collaborates with team for treatment planning and intervention.
• Completes and submits daily notes and forms to prevent interruptions in care.
