Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our Chevy Chase - South team. You will provide PT services including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, discharge planning, and documentation across varied settings.

The candidate should have a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and hold MD/DC/VA licensure as required by location. BLS certification is also required. Join a leading health system recognized as a top employer in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist with competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy.
• Ability to use varied evaluation and treatment approaches.
• Excellent communication with patients and families from diverse ages/backgrounds.
• Maryland/DC/VA licensure as required by location(s).

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation services and document results; explain findings to patient and family.
• Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on evaluation and patient needs.
• Complete discharge planning and maintain timely documentation of care.
• Maintain scheduling, productivity, and ensure frictionless access to care.
• Serve as a clinical instructor and mentor to students and staff.
