Job summary

Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital in Lawrence Township, NJ, is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with hourly pay ranging from $38 to $60, all inclusive, and daily pay options.

You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and work with an interdisciplinary team to restore mobility and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current, active, and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Evidence of a current satisfactory physical examination and/or freedom from communicable diseases as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and resident goals.
• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
• Monitor resident progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and accurately document all evaluations, treatments, and outcomes.
• Communicate resident progress, needs, and recommendations with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning meetings, facility committees, and community education initiatives as appropriate.
• Maintain professional standards of practice while protecting resident rights and confidentiality.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain clinical competency and stay current with best practices.
