Job summary

Physical & Sports Rehab is seeking a Maryland-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team in Upper Marlboro. This role reports to the Director of Rehab and supports PTs in delivering patient-centered care.

Workweek is Monday through Friday, 8am–7pm, in a collaborative clinic that values compassionate, evidence-based practice and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Maryland-licensed Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Outpatient/orthopedic experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations.
• Reliable, professional and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed PT.
• Assist in implementing treatment programs to improve strength, mobility, and function.
• Document patient progress accurately and on time.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
