Responsibilities:

• Patient Care Implementation: Assist in executing treatment plans developed by licensed physical therapists to meet patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Therapeutic Exercises and Activities: Lead patients through prescribed exercises, monitor progress, and ensure safe participation.
• Modalities and Physical Agents: Properly apply treatment modalities, monitor responses, and adjust as needed.
• Patient and Family Education: Educate on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Document patient progress, communicate updates to supervising therapists, and collaborate on treatment adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
