Job summary

Select Medical seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for our Select Physical Therapy center. You will work under a licensed PT to deliver quality outpatient orthopedic care to patients of all ages, supporting functional restoration and safe, evidence-based treatments.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, collaboration with a clinical team, and ongoing mentorship through our advancement program. A strong focus on growth, CEU opportunities, and career mobility is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the CAPTE national examination for PTAs.
• Valid state PTA license (or in process).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state law.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients and coordinate with caregivers and facilities.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support client relations.

Position: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 4756 North Federal Highway Lighthouse Point, Fl 33064

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Starting at 32 hours/week with ability to grow schedule to 40 hours/week

Compensation: $26.00-$35.00/hour pending experience plus up to a $4,000 bonus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
