Select Medical is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time outpatient position in Wellington, FL. The role involves delivering supervised physical therapy, implementing treatment plans, and coordinating with therapists to restore patient function.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited PTA program.
• Must be licensed/cending license in the state of Florida or in process.
• CAPTE certification required for PTA credentialing.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PT services per policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff.

Location: 3319 State Road 7 , Suite 310 Wellington FL 33449

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Schedule TBD

Compensation: $25.00-$35.00/hour pending experience plus up to a $7,500 sign on bonus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
