Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing outpatient team. We provide state-of-the-art facilities and a clear path for professional growth through mentorship and CEU support.

New grads and experienced PTAs are welcome. You will collaborate with therapists, document progress notes, and contribute to efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in NJ.
• New grads and experienced PTAs welcome.
• Computer literacy required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and timely to support collaborative care.
• Pursue clinical excellence through CEUs and professional development.
• Participate in monthly meetings to identify and address clinic challenges and improve flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss initiatives and improve patient care.

• Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
