Job summary

SportsMed Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing outpatient team. We provide multidisciplinary care with state-of-the-art equipment and a focus on orthopedic and sports injuries.

Licensed PTAs will collaborate with PTs, document progress notes, support patient flow, and contribute to clinic growth through continuing education and participation in team meetings.

Qualifications

• NJ PTA license required to practice.
• New grads and experienced PTAs welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and within a timely manner to support collaborative care.
• Support clinic advancement by engaging in CEUs and professional development.
• Attend monthly meetings to identify challenges and improve clinic flow.
• Participate in company-wide meetings to discuss initiatives improving patient care.

• Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
