SportsMed Physical Therapy, a leading outpatient practice in the Northeast, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in New Jersey. We offer mentorship, a collaborative environment, and opportunities for career advancement across nearby locations.

As a PTA, you will work with therapists on plans of care, document progress, and coordinate care with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and occupational therapists to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in New Jersey.
• Open to new grads or experienced PTAs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Physical Therapists regarding plans of care and progression of exercises and goals for each patient.
• Assist with progress notes and re-evaluations to improve patient flow and increase patient satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers to ensure quality patient care.
• Complete notes thoroughly and within a timely manner to ensure collaborative care is maintained.
• Work towards the advancement of the clinic by maintaining clinical excellence through CEUs.
• Participate in monthly meetings to identify challenges and improve clinic flow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss initiatives to improve clinical excellence and patient care.
