Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by licensed physical therapists to meet patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Lead patients through prescribed exercises and activities, instructing proper techniques and monitoring progress.
• Apply treatment modalities correctly, monitor patient responses, and adjust as needed.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, proper mechanics, and pain management techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress, communicating regularly with supervising therapists for plan adjustments.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
