Qualifications

• Youmust bealicensed Physical TherapistAssistant in the state of practice (or new grad PTA)
• Youmusthavean Associate of Sciencedegree inPhysical TherapistAssistant
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification prior to start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification prior to start

Responsibilities

• Screening patients
• Documenting progress toward identified objectives
• Administering physical therapy services as directed by a registered physical therapist
• Conducting patient and family education
• Delivering quality physical therapy services
• Putting patient service first
