Job summary

First Staff Services is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our pediatric team in Illinois. You will evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and quality of life for children and families.

The role requires an IL PT license, Master’s degree in PT, and CPR/First Aid certification. Experience with pediatric therapy is preferred, with Spanish speakers encouraged to apply. In-person setting with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Illinois Physical Therapist License.
  • Current Infant/Child CPR and Basic First Aid Certification.

  • Educate and coach families on therapeutic techniques and home programs.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and attend care planning meetings.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support student clinical training.
  • Participate in staff development, continuing education, and in-service training programs.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality pediatric physical therapy services. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence, mobility, and overall quality of life for children and their families.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, transfer, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching.
