Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy pharmacy technician license required.
• College courses in basic sciences, mathematics, business or related areas and/or completion of a technician training program preferred.
• Designated cash handlers must complete the Patient Services Cashier course and be designated during the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in pharmacy operations and assists pharmacists under supervision to ensure competent, efficient and timely performance within the Pharmacy Department.
