Main St. Pharmacy in Paterson, NJ is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will receive incoming prescriptions, verify accuracy, and input data into our system while assisting customers.

The role involves handling payments, receiving and logging inventory, maintaining patient profiles, answering questions, and delivering fast, friendly service in a busy pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must have active Technician License.
• Spanish Speaking Preferred
• Arabic Speaking Preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired

Responsibilities

• Receive written and faxed prescriptions, verify accuracy, and input into the system.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications.
• Receive and log incoming inventory, verify accuracy, and file it in the system.
• Maintain patient profiles, inventory logs, and pharmacy records.
• Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions.
• Answer phones and assist customers with inquiries.
