The McGrath Pharmacy in Lawrenceville, NJ is hiring a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will receive prescriptions, verify accuracy, input data into our system, accept payments, and assist customers with questions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has an active technician license, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with pharmacy software. Immunization certification and bilingual Spanish are preferred; on-site work with a flexible

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must have active Technician License.
• Best RX Software experience, preferred.
• Immunization certification, preferred.
• Bilingual SPANISH Speaker, preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed.
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in prescription processing, compounding, dispensing, and record keeping.
• Assist patients with billing and insurance claims.
• Maintain prescription and patient records ensuring compliance.
• Answer customer questions and process payments.
• Update patient profiles and support pharmacist with tasks.
• Receive and stock merchandise, monitor inventory.
• Verify accuracy of prescriptions in the system and enter data correctly.
• Ensure proper labeling on containers with patient instructions.
• Interact with customers and provide assistance as needed.
