Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Alabama is seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Under supervision, you will maintain floor stock, prep for floor bulk medications, package fill and ship medications, and uphold pharmacy standards.

Experience with Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) is a plus. Candidates should be reliable, able to multitask, and proficient with LTC frameworks. AL registration is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered AL Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Certified AL Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy operations and controlled substances is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
