Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Pharmacist Warehouse Associate for its central fill pharmacy operations in Michigan. You will fill prescriptions, manage inventory, and ensure quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include labeling, packing, and restocking, with a focus on safety, temperature control, and adherence to Meijer standards. Previous warehouse experience and MI pharmacy license are required.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan Pharmacy License.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills.
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to concentrate and focus.
• Demonstrated experience where accuracy and quality are the strict standard.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Lift approximately 10+ lbs.
• Use of fine motor hand functions.

Responsibilities

• Fills cells and bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules; affixes labels to medication containers.
• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Follow established inventory control practices to ensure Meijer standards are met.
• Ensure quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during transfer and storage.
• Read computer-generated screens to locate indicated merchandise and verify size and strength before selecting an order.
• Select drugs from stock for preparation; count or pour pharmaceuticals.
• Restock and replenish medication in appropriate locations.
• Packing and sorting of completed prescription orders in preparation.
• Clean and maintain all cells; keep floor and work area clean and orderly.
• Receive Purchase Orders; identify/verify item, quantity, and quality, and enter into software via laptop.
• Review product to be shipped against billing records to verify and document accuracy.
• Identify/verify item quantity against system records.

The position under the supervision of a Pharmacist, refills and replenishes prescription requests in an automated central fill pharmacy setting. Prepares packages and distributes medications in a fast-paced production environment, maintaining quality and a continuous, consistent workflow in order to meet daily production goals. Practices 200% Safety Accountability.

Pay: $18.70+ an hour based on experience.

What You'll Be Doing
