Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Austin, TX, is seeking a qualified team member to support dispensing operations and client communications in a Long-Term Care pharmacy setting.

You will work under supervision, operate ADS systems (Pyxis, Omnicell), perform data entry, ensure inventory accuracy, and contribute to monthly cycle counts and reporting for facilities served. Must be locally based in Austin with pharmacy experience and a valid driver’s license; willingness to travel within Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Austin, Texas area.
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year in LTC preferred).
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and troubleshoot ADS problems.

Responsibilities

• Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
• Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff.
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
• Replace potentially expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Monthly audits (cycle count).
• Provide reports for the facility.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
