Qualifications

• Active MS Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Strong customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• In good standing with the MS Board of Pharmacy.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to interact with diverse individuals to provide patient care.
• Computer experience mandatory; proficient with pharmacy software/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate claims and fill prescriptions efficiently.
• Accept written prescriptions or refill requests and verify information for completeness/accuracy.
• Record medical histories; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Deliver quality customer service and respond to inquiries or requests.
• Select and count medications, label containers, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
• Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications and supplies.
