Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to provide prompt, friendly patient care, fill and verify prescriptions, and counsel according to state and federal regulations.

The role includes supporting inventory control and OTC merchandising, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced retail setting. The ideal candidate holds a college degree and pharmacy licensure, with 6–12 months of related experience; MTM and immunization administration are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must have college degree and licensure to practice.
• Maintains ongoing continuing education to keep license.
• MTM experience is preferred.
• Immunization administration ability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service in the pharmacy.
• Fill and verify prescriptions and counsel patients per regulations.
• Assist with inventory control, including controlled substances, annually.
• Coach, counsel, and train staff; support store operations and health wellness initiatives.
• Balance and reconcile third-party accounts; manage OTCs and merchandising.
