Job summary

Aptive Pest Control is hiring a Licensed Pest Control Technician to operate on road routes around Atlanta, GA, reporting to the Atlanta office weekly. The role offers uncapped bonuses, a company vehicle you can take home, a gas card, and paid training as part of a full-time field team.

In this role you will service routes, maintain equipment, keep treatment records, and ensure compliance with pesticide regulations while delivering top-notch customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years.
• A clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mixing, applying, and using pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as subject matter expert for customers by implementing efficient pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of route issues.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides.
• Assigned route in local area; carry a ~50 lb product backpack.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Licensed Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Atlanta, GA. This position will report to our office in Atlanta, GA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment and excels working at an individual level.

• $17.25 - $21.25 an hour
