Aptive Environmental is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to cover routes around Buffalo, NY, reporting to the Amherst office weekly. This full-time on-road role offers training, a company vehicle, and opportunities to advance within a growing national pest control company.

You will service residential properties, apply pesticides following laws, keep detailed records, and maintain equipment. A valid commercial pesticide applicator license for general pest control in NY and a clean

Competenze

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in New York.
• A US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed.

Mansioni

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient pest solution for each customer.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems.
• Keep management informed of any problems on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
• Assigned a route in your local area.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Buffalo, NY. This position will report to our office in Amherst, NY once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Responsibilities include:

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires
