Aptive Environmental is seeking a hard-working Pest Control Technician to join the on-road team serving the Harrisburg, PA area. This full-time role reports to the Harrisburg office weekly and offers $20.25-$23.25 per hour, plus uncapped bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll run daily routes, apply pesticides per laws, maintain equipment, and provide tailored pest solutions while keeping detailed records. A valid pesticide license, a 3-year driving history, and a clean record are required.

Competenze

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• Valid US driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean driving record – no more than 1 moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in 4 years.
• Drug test and background check required for all new hires.

We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Harrisburg, PA. This position will report to our office in Harrisburg, PA once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

Salary: $20.25-$23.25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Running a daily route where you will be resolving customer pest concerns and issues
• Maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order
• Keeping accurate records of treatments provided
• Mixing, applying, and working with pesticides following state and federal laws
• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures
• Advise customers of potential problems
• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routes
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday

Qualifications

• Must hold a current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required
• A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)
