Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Water Resources Project Engineer to join our team in Maryland. You will lead water resources projects, develop designs, studies, calculations, and reports, and manage scope, schedules, budgets, and quality control.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with 5–10 years of experience, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to present to clients and at public meetings. Maryland SHA and county experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5–10 years of professional experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Experience with water resources engineering, including MS4, TMDL, bridge hydraulics, floodplain modeling, or transportation-related design.
• Maryland SHA and local county experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee technical work on water resources projects.
• Develop designs, studies, calculations, and reports.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality control.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal teams.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Participate in presentations and public meetings.
