Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is hiring licensed paraprofessionals to support students in local schools for the 25/26 school year. Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full-time (32.5 hours/week) with a calendar-based contract and placement aligned to experience.

Responsibilities include 1:1 or small group support, assisting teachers, documenting student progress, preparing materials, and basic clerical tasks. Paraprofessional license and school-based experience required.

Qualifications

• Illinois Paraprofessional License (ELS – Paraprofessional) required.
• Experience with preschool or school-aged children.
• Special education experience preferred.
• Reliable, proactive and able to multitask in a classroom.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods; lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assist teachers with lesson activities and classroom routines.
• Help implement behavior and support plans.
• Observe and document student progress.
• Prepare materials and maintain an organized classroom.
• Assist with basic clerical tasks as needed.
