Job summary

ALTAMIRA in Houston, TX is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with 5–10 years of experience for a senior design and project leadership role in oil & gas infrastructure. The candidate must hold a P.E. license in TX, LA, or NM or be prepared to test within 120 days.

Open to any engineering discipline, the role focuses on design, development, project management, and compliance across upstream, midstream or downstream facilities. Travel to project sites is possible.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of engineering experience.

• Experience in oil & gas infrastructure design (upstream/midstream/downstream) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of infrastructure projects for oil & gas facilities.
• Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations; prepare design calculations and drawings.
• Collaborate with construction, operations, and maintenance teams to deliver projects.
