Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) - Houston, TX

Oil and Gas

Job Summary:

Lead and execute electrical engineering across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while collaborating with teams and guiding electrical designers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical design and RFQ packages, ensuring on-time client delivery.
• Apply NEC, API, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA standards.
• Perform power system studies (arc flash, load flow, short circuit) using ETAP and SKM.
• Create electrical design deliverables, including one-line diagrams, schematics, grounding plans, area classification, and cable schedules.
• Review equipment specs and installation requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to meet project goals.
• Ensure compliance with client needs and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE License, Texas
• 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Expertise in medium/low voltage systems, motor starters, VFDs, and transformers.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license required.
