Job summary

Gusto is seeking a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Broker to join a pilot program for a licensed agent model, partnering with NEXT Insurance to quote and issue business policies for small businesses. You will support the AI Insurance Advisor, work offline, and strive to grow revenue through cross-sell and renewals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in insurance sales or brokerage with knowledge of commercial P&C products.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance producer’s license is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to assess complex P&C needs and recommend coverage options.
• Quote and issue P&C policies, primarily with NEXT Insurance, in offline sales channels.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales activity targets.
• Provide human-in-the-loop support to optimize the AI Insurance Advisor and assist clients with complex needs.
• Maintain client records, manage renewals, and process endorsements.
• Act as liaison between clients and carriers, assist with losses and claims when needed.
• Cross-sell and upsell additional P&C lines to achieve revenue goals.
