Job summary

Five Star Nursing seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team in skilled nursing facilities across NYC and surrounding areas. You will evaluate and treat residents, educate families, and contribute to cognitive and physical recovery while collaborating with a multidisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, program development, and ongoing assessment of progress. We offer flexible schedules and options for W-2 or independent contractor engagement to fit

Qualifications

• Current NYS OT license and registration.
• EMR competence and ability to document in electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to SNF residents including evaluation, treatment, program development and family education.
• Conduct individual, supervised and group therapy per treatment plans.
• Monitor patient response and adjust interventions with supervising OT as needed.
• Maintain scheduling and flexible treatment regimens to meet resident needs.
