Job summary

Rite of Passage’s Southern California Treatment Program in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy. The role includes clinical assessment, service planning, record keeping, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team.

Must be licensed or registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and have residential or at-risk youth experience. Familiarity with EXYM EHR is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect, with a genuine desire to work with troubled teens
• Candidates must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical exam, and TB test
• A current State Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years
• Licensing or registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and experience in residential settings or with at-risk youths
• Familiarity with navigating an Electronic Health Records System (EXYM) is required

Pay: Rate starting at $70,304 per year; $5000.00 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Clinical position paid out at 3 and 6 Months!

What you will do

You will provide individual, family, and group therapy as indicated by program needs, including clinical assessment, service planning, record keeping, and service coordination with a multi-disciplinary team. You will develop and oversee the completion of treatment plans on an individual, family, and group basis.

To be considered you must

• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect, with a genuine desire to work with troubled teens
• Applicants are required to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test
• A current State Drivers License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years
• Candidates must be licensed or registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and have experience in a residential setting and/or with at-risk adolescent populations
• Familiarity with navigating an Electronic Health Records System, preferably EXYM, is also required
• Strong communication, written, and organizational skills, along with effective time management and the ability to meet multiple deadlines, are essential for success in this role.

Schedule/Hours/Shifts

Shifts: Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
