Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure required for optician duties.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and team skills.
• Knowledge of current eyewear and store merchandise.
• Basic math skills and comfort with technology.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills using an iPad/tablet and POS systems.
• Familiarity with store software and calculators.
• Willingness to adapt to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations for service.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions.
• Lead with optical knowledge and customer care.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear for fit.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology efficiently under pressure; maintain product knowledge.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Multi-task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
• Strive for Brand KPI targets and store competencies.
