America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Optician to join our store team in New Jersey. You will assist customers with eyeglasses and contact lenses, provide lens education, and help customers see better while meeting store goals.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by state.
• 3+ years related experience or training.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with ability to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.
• Professional, friendly and comfortable working with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including training and education.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications.
• Support quality and safety by following standards and company policies.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising standards, and a clean work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
