Role Overview: The Licensed Optician represents our brand, establishing Target Optical as the premier destination for vision needs within the community. You will create value through legendary customer service and high-quality eyewear, exceeding customer expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Welcome customers and set expectations.
2. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
3. Lead in optical expertise and assist with complex product needs.
4. Take and record measurements accurately, adjust eyewear, and ensure standards are met.
5. Use technology effectively, maintain product knowledge, and utilize appropriate tools.
6. Explore root causes of issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive solutions.
7. Manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
8. Achieve results on KPIs and competencies.
9. Maintain store appearance and safety practices.
10. Stay motivated, continually learn, and adhere to company policies.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of current merchandise and fashion trends
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS and technology
