Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Optician to dispense eyeglasses and contacts, educate customers, and support store performance. You will provide exceptional service, meet sales goals, and help maintain patient records and orders.

The position requires an active dispensing license in the state, 3+ years of related experience (retail preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by state.
• 3+ years related experience or training in optical retail (required).
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills with ability to meet store goals.
• Organized and detail-minded, able to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including fitting and education.
• Deliver excellent customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications.
• Support quality and operational standards by reducing remakes and following safety policies.
• Maintain inventory, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
