Job summary

America’s Best in the United States is seeking an Optician to assist customers with eyewear and contact lenses, while delivering outstanding service and supporting store performance.

You will maintain patient records, manage orders, and help meet sales goals, all while following safety standards and policies. Sundays off offered as part of the schedule. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by state.
• 3+ years related experience or training.
• Strong customer service and clear communication abilities.
• Confident selling skills to meet store goals.
• Organized, detail-minded, and able to multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including training and product education.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including notifications and weekly outreach.
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes, following safety standards, and adhering to company policies.
• Maintain inventory control, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized work environment.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
