Visionworks in New York’s Town of Oneonta is seeking an Optical Sales Associate to assist customers with frame and lens choices, interpret prescriptions, and provide clear, accurate information on products and services. You will support accuracy in pricing, HIPAA compliance, and collaborative work with the Lab and Optometrist.

Ideal candidates hold a state ophthalmic dispensing license and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills.

Formación

• Must have and maintain applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing.
• Ability to explain optical products, services and prescriptions.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers with frame and lens selection.
• Provide accurate product information regarding frames, lens selections and services.
• Ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance.
• Provide price accuracy for retail customers.
• Maintain dispensing area cleanliness.
• Coordinate with Lab and Optometrist to ensure prescription accuracy.
