Job summary

Warby Parker in Seattle is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our in-house optical team. You will take measurements, adjust eyewear, explain prescription terms, and help customers choose frames and lenses while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states
• Clear, effective and professional communicator
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to help customers and teammates
• Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings
• Collaborate with the team to share best practices
• Assist customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, style and lifestyle
• Represent the brand and educate others about Warby Parker values
