Job summary

America’s Best in the United States is seeking an Optician to deliver patient-centered eyewear and contact lens dispensing with accuracy, empathy, and a focus on store performance.

You will assist customers, train on lens insertion, maintain records, manage orders, and help keep the shop organized while upholding safety standards and company policies. A state dispensing license and 3+ years experience are required; benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license as required by state
• 3+ years related experience or training in optical retail
• Strong customer service and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyeglass and contact lens dispensing, including contact lens insertion and removal training and product education
• Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting sales goals and company objectives
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage order follow-up, including customer notifications and weekly outreach
• Support quality and operational excellence by reducing remakes, following safety standards, and adhering to company policies
• Maintain inventory control, merchandising standards, and a clean, organized work environment
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law
