Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintain active optician licensure and ABO/NCLE certifications.
• Maintain NPI number and licensure as applicable.
• Willing to sponsor Apprentice Optical Technicians as required by state rules.
• Experience in optical services or healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by assisting eyewear purchases and repairs.
• Measure pupillary distance and fit frames and lenses.
• Process optical orders and verify prescription information.
• Educate members on eyewear care and health services.
• Maintain the Optical area and inventory, including hearing aid sections where applicable.
