Job summary

Qualifications

• Optician in Charge status required by state regulations.
• Maintains active state licensure/registration and ABO/NCLE certifications.
• Willing to sponsor Apprentice Optical Technicians as required by state regulations.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, unless state specific regulations required advanced education.
• Maintains NPI number and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service in Optical area; stock and display merchandise; handle purchases, returns, and refunds.
• Educate members on eyewear usage and care; assist with frame/lens adjustments and repairs.
• Process optical orders and coordinate with labs/optometrists; ensure calibration of equipment.
