Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations
• Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical acumen
• Take & record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail
• Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions
• Use technology accurately despite time pressure & customer volume
• Explore root causes of issues, ensure customer satisfaction
• Multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively
• Achieve results on Brand KPIs & competencies
• Maintain store appearance, keep it clean & organized
• Inform management of safety opportunities, demonstrate safe work practices
• Be resourceful, self-motivated, committed to learning & improvement
• Adhere to policies & procedures including discounts, promotions, inventory management

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of current store merchandise
• Basic math skills
• Awareness of fashion trends
• Selling skills & comfort with technology like iPAD/tablet
• Familiarity with POS, computers, calculators
• Open to new technology & change

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service & retail experience
