Position Overview

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality eyewear. As a key member of our team, you will help establish our store as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.

Responsibilities

1. Welcome all customers and set expectations
2. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
3. Act as a leader in optical knowledge
4. Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail
5. Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions
6. Use technology accurately under time pressure, maintaining product knowledge
7. Explore root causes of issues and ensure customer satisfaction
8. Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
9. Maintain store appearance and safety standards
10. Adhere to company policies, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service, communication, and team skills
• Knowledge of current merchandise and fashion trends
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS and technology
• Willingness to embrace new technology and change

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail and customer service experience
