Job summary

Kennedy Care Center is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide treatment under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, and recertification documentation per OT Board and regulatory requirements.
• Instruct families and nursing staff in maintenance and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
• Participate in discharge planning and assist with cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
