Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Must hold a valid OT license and state registration.
• Experience supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience in long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills including evaluations, progress notes, re-certification, and discharge summaries.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent patient service and clinical excellence.
• Punctual, professional, and adherent to confidentiality and residents' rights (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct OT care.
• Develop and administer individualized treatment plans with patient goals.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families.
• Supervise and oversee OT Assistants.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure patient-centered care.
• Maintain timely documentation of evaluations and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and residents' rights.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
