Job summary

Saugus Rehab and Nursing is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions that promote independence and safety. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Massachusetts OT license (or eligibility).
• NBCOT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide skilled OT services per physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise and collaborate with COTAs.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies.
• Support discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Job description

As a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating residents, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence and safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
• Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
• Support discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
